So on the weekend of 4-6 of July, I went on a trip to Lyon! My friend Micky has an old friend there, so we got to stay at her house. She and her Lyonnais friends also showed us around town, which was awesome!
We arrived on Friday (after only an 1,5h drive from Geneva), just in time to see the last 10 minutes of the France - Germany football game. The French lost, which of course sucked, but we soon forgot about that because we (us 4 cernies + our host and her friends) went out to eat to a nice French place, and then walked around town.
It was nice to see the sights at night!

Le Rhône (which starts in Geneva) is beautiful, although not clean enough for swimming in Lyon

In the evening we went to play petanque, and I was pretty surprised to see French people playing Mölkky!
On Sunday we had lunch and ice cream in town before heading back to Geneva. Sorry for the crappy picture but this was just so good! Watermelon and coconut-Bounty, ahh... Lyon had so many good ice cream places!
