On Saturday June 28th I went hiking to the Jura with a group of Finnish guys. The weather was great for hiking, except for a little rain in the beginning. At first we rode our bikes to Thoiry, a village nearby, which took around 45 minutes because of the horrible steep uphill at the end that just kept going on and on... The distance to our starting point from my house was approximately 10 km.
The hike itself was exhausting for me, but it felt good to complete it. And the views were amazing of course!

Map of the route. We started from les Hauts de Thoiry, went to Tiocan, then la Croisée and up on the left side to le Réculet, a little over 1700m above sea level. We then took the route on the right to get back down to Croisée.

Parts of the hike were on this strange concrete (?) road that had a lot of loose rocks on it. Not very comfortable!

At le Tiocan we shared a bottle of local apple cider to celebrate a successful hike :)
